Pro. & Dr. Li xinping was born in 1967. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Urumuqi from Xinjiang agricultural University in 1993 and in Nanjing from Nanjing agricultural University in 1999, respectively. He worked as post-doctoral fellows at the University of Chongqing and Soochow for over six years from late 1999 to 2005. Currently he works as a professor at College of Veterinary Medicine at Northwest A & F University. The recent research areas include development of the universal reporter gene assay for drug screening used to perform 96-well-plate high throughput screening against gene targets, such as GHR, PLR, GHS-R, NMU2R, using suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) technique to study genes involved in mastitis and endometritis, biotech drug, gene polymorphism and functions in vitro.
